Very few characters are safe from us. Each character tells me their story and their time to die. As I remember in this one, when Kris went to California, I left her on this same cliffhanger. But I left her the question of yes or no? Do they die or do they live? I said the character's story was done and we needed a point, that even allies, lovers and friends die. I think she pondered hard that weekend. In the end, well you know what happened by now.
