mmm coffee
Dec. 4th, 2003 08:26 amI've been craving coffee ever since watching the Good Eats coffee episode, so I made myself some in my presspot this morning. (All hail the Holy Presspot, maker of divinely mellow coffee!) I am so AWAKE now, since I decided to use the caffeinated stuff.
I'm still at home because I have a foot doctor appointment this morning, which means I get to take the bus downtown, have my appointment, and then take the bus to work. Short day for me. And I love the 545 when it's not rush hour--big smooth-riding bus, all quiet. And I'll get to ask if the night splint is *supposed* to be making my toes numb and tingly all day long. It's not really bothersome unless I'm trying to pick things up with my toes (which I do less in the winter than the summer, since I wear socks more in the winter) but it *is* worrisome, because "numb and tingly" says "potential nerve damage" to me. And nerve damage is one of those things that it takes me an exceptionally long time to heal up from. We'll see.
okay. Time to shut down the computer, go put on my coat (which is officially too big for me; I need a new raincoat, I think) and head downtown.
