Lots happened, including the rescue of someone I, at least, was never expecting to actually show up in the story--Reiko's long-lost mother. A couple of threads are tied off, and at this moment we may or may not have an ally in the form of an old enemy.
I have to admit that I'm liking Tomika more and more these days. She's starting to let her true self shine through the murk of her upbringing.
