you know what I want?

I want a babydoll t-shirt that says on it:

not everything with wings is an angel.

As far as I know, this t-shirt doesn't exist. I may have to look into making one.

News from foot doctor: I am all good to go, and my plantar fascitis is healing nicely. If I need new orthotics, I can come back, but we're done with foot doctoring for the moment.

I am totally buzzing from caffeine right now. (Yes, from the one cup of coffee I had this morning. Well, it was a big mug. more like two cups.) I went to Hot Topic while waiting for my bus. I did buy things, only one of which I'd known I wanted before wandering into the store. (purple and black stripey tights; remains to be seen if they fit.) And a Labyrinth t-shirt. I resisted buying an Amy Brown calendar, because I want to buy one from the place in Kent after the holidays. (by the way, if you're ever stuck for an end-of-year gift for me, calendars are wonderful--I buy four of them every year, three for home and one for work.) Some habits from days past still stick with me--being nervous without a timepiece and a calendar around me, for instance.

I never, ever take the passage of time for granted.

I would buy one of those t-shirts, if they existed.

Hm. I know [livejournal.com profile] jadine has been having shirts made--I'll have to ask her what the startup costs are.

If you decide to get those shirts made (especially if they have a glittery script on them) count me in for one. That's a super-cool idea.

What did the doc say about the numb/tingle toes?

He said it was surface nerve stuff, and to try loosening the straps and/or wearing a sock. I'll try the sock. He also said that as my foot heals, I can limit the brace usage to a couple of hours a night, in the evening. That'll be about two months from now, or so.
