What we've been doing to the house

aithneCome with me for a tour of all the lovely things we've been doing...
First, we painted the outside of the house. The temporary sign has been replaced with a nice metal sign. The color was a little odd at first, but it's grown on me.
Then, we put on French doors on both back doors, replacing sliding glass doors. These doors have worked out wonderfully well, and I think we all love them dearly. We still haven't figured out what we're doing for a screen, but we'll get there.
And then...we replaced the nasty carpet upstairs with bamboo floors. It was a stressful few weeks, but the end result was worth it:
(That last one has a bonus Esmerelda kitty!)
We took a little while to get all moved back in, since most of the upstairs had been stored in the downstairs. I did something I'd been wanting to do for a while, which is get an organization system for my closet:
And most recently, the hideous bifold doors have been replaced with lovely sliding doors!
I also created a charging box so I can find all of my chargers when I need them, and have a place to plug them in that doesn't require rummaging:

Right now, there is a giant pile of Stuff in the middle of the garage. We've demolished the cabinets on the walls to make way for new ones, that will hopefully hold everything! I am hopeful, and looking forward to it.
