back from Nova Scotia

And it was a lovely, though tiring trip.  Friend of mine in Halifax and I are mutually annoyed that Halifax and Seattle are so far apart.  Some of my favorite pictures are under the cut, or you can hit the photoset and look at all 275 of them.

That is Evangeline - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evangeline This was out at Grand-Pre, which was near the center of the deportation of the Acadians from Nova Scotia.

Oh, fascinating! Despite dating a Creole guy, I still know way less than I wish I did about the history there.

Also, tea/dinner/whatever sometime? I'm out of town next week, but back the week after.

Yes! I am pretty free the week after next--as usual, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays tend to be better, and I think I'm free both weekend evenings. (There's a huge local celebration here on the 5th and 6th that will make it a little complicated for me to get anywhere, but I will manage!)
