krisdresen to use.
I'm still a sleepyhead this morning. I dropped Cricket off at the vet bright and early this morning, and as I was leaving two more cats and their people showed up. They must do a lot of bits snipping on Monday.
Poor Cricket, though. In the car, she was so scared she was purring. (This wasn't a happy purr. She was attempting to escape from the cage and batting at the latch; this is not a time that a happy purr happens. She had also been howling for several minutes prior to the car stopping.) I took her in and there were meeping noises coming from the cage. Poor scared puff.
So tomorrow afternoon, I go fetch Juniper from home, get him his shots, and then spring Cricket from the joint. There will be considerable pain to my pocketbook, as though I love my vet clinic, they are *extremely* expensive to have surgery at. (Her spaying will cost me about $250. Spaying runs between $60-100 most places.) They have fancy anesthesia stuff, which is why it's so expensive. It's worth it, however, to have her taken care of by people I trust close to home.
Anyway. She's an expensive little cat. She would like me to tell you all that she is worth every penny.
And when she gets home, she gets a pretty new collar.
