learning disability that seriously impacts my ability to process aural
information. (I'm actually a visual/kinesthetic learner. No noise needed

It's wrong about me being "swept away by the feelings of the moment", and I've
learned methods of filtering and remaining focused while processing stuff.
Most of them having to do with avoiding lecture classes.
Also, I *always* read the directions before I begin something. Twice.
