This bit from Storm makes a whole bunch of stuff in the last few pieces of writing make sense. This plus the last dream contain all the information we need to solve two mysteries--one, who the person who's been running this whole show is, and two, *why* we've been destroying artifacts all along.
Those two things are connected. And not in a way that bodes well for anyone.
The code in Juri's note to himself is six numbers--a gate address on the material plane, basically. (I *think* extraplanar/offworld addresses are seven or eight numbers, which means we can't get there using just the rods we use as keys.)
(and, of course, one has to wonder who created the gate system in the first place...)
