I do not want to be telling this story.

The problem with having an overactive imagination and a lot of people who live there is that on occasion, one of them will want me to tell a story that I really, really don't want to tell. After the Fall was one of those. And now Reiko is telling me another story that I don't want to hear and that I certianly don't want to write down.

But in order to stop hearing the story, I have to write it down. Once it's out, then she'll quit bothering me about it. Overall, the kitsune is a fascinating character but she's not a comfortable person to have in my head.

In other news, i'm through the bit of the novel that was bogging me down, and I'm on to another bit that's also proving to be a bit difficult to write. Unexpectedly so, as a matter of fact. I need to get through this bit and then the rest of the chapter is largely written already, with some minor editing.

Also, I am at work. (This is "again", not "still".) However, i'm mostly here to keep an eye on something I kicked off last night, which is going swimmingly well. I'm doing a couple of other things, but they're not quite on the same order of magnitude as everything else I've done this weekend.

I desperately need to do laundry. Perhaps Tuesday night.
