ultralight laptops?
Aug. 23rd, 2006 03:31 pmI *heart* my ultralight ThinkPad x31, but it's aging, and I'm starting to think about replacing it in the near future. Before I go out and buy an x41, is there anything going on in the ultralight laptop market I should know about? Anything new and shiny?
(My specifications: must be less than 3.5 pounds, pretty close to 8.5 x 11 x 1 in size, and most important of all, if must have a comfortable keyboard to type on. I'm not looking at an x61 precisely because they changed the keyboard, and I can tell by looking that it wouldn't work for me. Not looking for huge speed, don't need an optical or floppy drive.)
(And, alas, Apple's discontinued their ultralight laptop, looks like.)
