teeth and toes; also, a request for knowledge

Ran this morning for the first time in *mumbledy*. I'd meant to start again last week, but Laura was miserably sick so I opted to walk the dog every morning instead. (Hey, walking the dog is exercise! It says so!)

My shoes no longer like my feet, which gets an eyeroll from me as they're obviously sulking that I haven't been in them lately. It'll get better. Did three miles (in run/walk splits), saw my little old men and their little old dogs, got to breathe fresh air and see trees. As a way to start the morning goes, it wasn't half bad. Of course, now I am starving, and had some yogurt and cereal to combat that.

Had dinner with an old friend, bard_an_gaoth. It was really good to see him again, as it's been a decade since I saw him last. He's grown up, as have I, and he's in the process of moving to Seattle. We went to Etta's, which as always was excellent, and then sat in Westlake Park and chatted.

Speaking of, I need to hook him up with a couple of you guys. His five-year-old has been diagnosed as autistic, and I know there are a few of you with kids who have IEPs, etc, and might have some words of wisdom regarding navigating the system here. I'm currently thinking of phinnia, and eleri and vaxjedi.

If you guys or anyone else has experience navigating the system, let me know and I can get your guys together.
