I have dancin' feet!
Jun. 27th, 2007 10:52 amWe went dancing last night, at 80's night at the Noc Noc. The bar is on 2nd and looks like a dive from the outside, but on the inside it's actually a nifty goth bar with a very sweet little dance floor and a lot of creepy statuary on the inside. And they played real 80's music--not unrecognizable techno remixes of 80's music!
I had a good time, but the foot that has the worse plantar fascitis in it is all flared up and sore this morning. I think I want to go again sometime, this time taking the next day off. And, well, not wearing bright green shoes with my oddly-slyly-sweet black swiss dot dress. We were out with
zaratyst ,
mholmesiv, Caroline who I don't think has an LJ any more,
tieyah,
zondrrrah,
duckdaring, and a friend of Duck's who I don't know if she has an LJ.
I do wish that we could actually, you know, talk between being out there dancing. Even my lipreading abilities only go so far. I should learn sign language one of these days. I'm probably going to need it some day, and it would make communicating in noisy environments easier.
