I think I've officially survived jetlag.
Sep. 30th, 2007 10:36 amI managed to go to bed at a reasonable hour last night and get up at what Boone considers a reasonable hour this morning, without the crushing fatigue that I've been having. I went for a four-mile walk yesterday with the dog, and it was only during the last mile that enough of his energy had been worked out that he was able to listen to me when I started doing some of the basic obedience stuff with him. I think it's about time to start running with him. He's big enough and sturdy enough, even at 10 months old, that I'm not really fearing that he's going to hurt himself trying to keep up, and gods know he could use something to burn off all that energy. We'll do run/walks in the beginning, and see how he does.
I'm going to California next weekend for a conference; I need to check my schedule, but if I'm recalling correctly I'm not going to have any time to do anything fun. (I'm going to be in Palo Alto.) The conference should be good, though I'm kind of going "but I just got back!" Ah, well.
zaratyst and I have some errands to run this morning, and then I have writing to do and some house stuff to accomplish. Should be a busy but full day.
