aithne: (sleepyhead (by Kris Dresden))

I have been exhausted for the past couple of weeks. Just out and out physically exhausted, napping in the afternoons. I've been trying to figure out why--my thyroid dose should be good, I've been taking my meds. I figure vitamins might help, since I've been forgetting to take my multivitamin, but I'm also starting to wonder if I'm plain old not eating enough.

Might also be the fact that it's hot enough that I've needed to start sleeping with the windows open, and the dog wakes me up several times a night. It's so strange to wake in the morning pinned to the bed with fatigue. I do not like it, sam I am.

We'll see what happens. Might get better when it cools off enough that I can sleep with my window closed, and maybe the dog will stop alerting me that Bryan and Laura are going to bed at midnightish, two hours after I've gone to bed.

He often doesn't even alert you about that. Last night, for example, we'd been in bad like 30 minutes, bryan was reading with his headlamp on, that's when he barked. At something outside I assume. But yeah, you're more patient than I am. If he was in my room, I think I'd banish him to the bowels of the house.

Yep, sounds like....

Sleep deprivation!! Thank your puppy and the weather, but interrupted sleep is worse than not getting enough concentrated sleep. Either banish the dog, muzzle him, or wear earplugs to bed and take some valerian root.
Sorry hon... I know how you feel though, since Kira threw up 8 times last night (hairball central) and woke me up every single time.
Sigh, right along with ya!
