I'm in Palo Alto/Sunnyvale for the weekend; I have a conference tomorrow to go to, so I am ensconced in my (very nice) hotel room and pondering writing for an hour and a half or so before sleeping. The trip down was phenomonally easy; zondrrrah and zaratyst dropped me off at the airport, I got through security okay and had some time to read before the flight, the flight was pretty short, and I found my rental car place without any problems. The rental car company gave me a slightly hideous car, but that's quite all right, I'm not planning to drive it much.

My hotel room came with a "sleep packet" that had earplugs, an eye mask, lavender linen spray, and a relaxation CD. Between these things and a bit of Ambien, with any luck I'll sleep tonight.

Hm. Hungry. Maybe time to go seek In n' Out...

People who don't know that In n' Out is a restaurant are probably bemused by your solution to hunger. :)
