not so much resolutions

The period between Samhain and Yule, for me, is a difficult one in a lot of ways. The light is dying (and here in the Pacific Northwest, that is significant in a way it isn't at lower latitudes; it would be even more significant if I lived, say, in Alaska) and we slip into winter.
But! The Holly King is dead, and the Oak King is young and full of life. And so, I am in a list-making mood. Here are things I'd like to do in the next year:
1. Kick-start Southern Patrol with five or six new reviews of places in and around Southern King County.
2. Finish Imryne, write The Waters and the Wild, write whatever new thing we have next (looks like it's going to be our dark Romany thing), etc.
3. Figure out a way to recap Sunday sessions that's not as time-intensive.
4. Edit Shadows and Silk into a cohesive manuscript and start the agent hunt. We'll see if it works.
5. Release a couple of other serials as printed books.
6. Do one comprehensive final edit of Every Sacred Thing and buy an ISBN so it can be found on Amazon.
7. Get Pip into training; she's just about ready for basic obedience classes.
8. Start Boone on agility training, since he's about to be a year old. I think Pip would also enjoy agility, but she's too young yet.
9. When the weather improves, start running with Boone again. He enjoys it, I enjoy it, and it's a good way to stay in shape. One of my Christmas presents to myself is a hands-free leash system, to make doing that easier.
10. Walk the dogs at least every other day.
11. Come up with a workable system for managing the several places I need to post on a semi-regular basis.
12. Finish The Bone Sextant and release on Lulu. (The Bone Sextant is the book of poetry that I've had 3/4ths finished for ages now. Time to finish it.)
13. Create an archive site for Imryne; I have the place for it, I just need about four hours to get it designed and put together.
14. Take a look at my personal Web site and do a little shuffling; now that things have settled in, I have some more ideas.
15. Remember to have a life. This is difficult for me sometimes. :)

Date: 2007-12-27 08:47 pm (UTC)#4 Jen will send to agents the manuscript. She volunteered before to kick it out to oodles of them.
#6 When you far enough to get an ISBN number, let me know, I will kick in half the cost.
