We're back in the house, now. The furniture has been moved upstairs, except my dresser which is not coming upstairs after all. (I've never liked this dresser, and it got a little broken in the move downstairs. I am redesigning my closet, and when I'm done I should be able to purchase a much smaller chest of drawers.) I got my computer set up last night, which is always the first step in making me feel at home.

I got to spend last night in my own bed, and this morning I took a shower with all my my normal unguents. It's amazing how much better having my usual hair goop and shaved legs makes me feel. I managed to catch a cold while we were trying to get moved back in, but between zinc lozenges and my superstar immune system, I'm feeling almost back to normal today.

There is quite a bit of work for me to do; my library needs to be hauled back upstairs, my office stuff needs to come out from my closet and into my room, I may have some more book purging to do (I've eliminated one of my bookshelves), I have bedroom closet stuff to do, my bathroom is filthy and needs a deep cleaning...but it's all good and happy work. And happier now that I'm feeling better.

Pictures of the floors and from Disneyland should be posted this weekend! Yay!

I agree. Even though I love traveling and staying in hotels, I always feel "back at home" once I've showered with my usual stuff.
