your darker colored one looks identical to my Chewie when he was a baby. he has since gotten much darker and more gray - he had that touch of brown in his fur when he was younger.

We've done something similar - cats who've been too clever about trying to get out are escorted onto the porch during a heavy downpour. You wouldn't believe how well that can convince someone that outside is a Bad Idea.
