story comes spilling

Yes, I'm doing a *lot* of writing. I'm working on the third Mouse story whenever I get a moment, and a chapter I thought was done has turned out not to be. (The candelabra rule has come into play.) The Mouse story I started last night is interesting, in large part because it's a bunch of stories inside a larger story.

My Seattle weather is back, and I'm overjoyed. And I had a lovely date with Laura last night--we made tasty tasty ganache-covered chocolate-cherry bars. And picked up some more purple hair dye for me, so I will be dying my hair purple for my 30th birthday. Speaking of hair, i'm trying to decide if i'm going to cut it short again this winter. I could cut about six inches off of it to get it to shoulder-length, or I could just go for a trim and wait till the spring to cut it off. I haven't decided what to do quite yet.

I think tonight's going to be a writing and editing night, trying to get this chapter finished and in the can, and tomorrow night will be me trying to get the Website template that I have about a third finished done. (I'm doing something with CSS that has turned out to be difficult. *meh*.) And then I'll write myself out of the corner I've written myself into on the new chapter and get really moving on that.

So many stories. So little time.

so I solved my CSS issue and the writing section of my Web site is all prettified and CSS-ized. Which means, at long last, I can start updating it with stuff i've written since i let it fall into disrepair.

not tonight, though. I've done enough for one evening.

Oh, yes, and the new front page of http://www.doomcookie.com/ is also css-ized and is even a visual improvement on the table-based layout--albeit an improvement nobody but me will ever notice. Heh.
