Went down to zaratyst and mholmesiv's house last night, to help prep for party. Cleaned lots of stuff (SHINY!), went shopping, and cooked this morning. Much snuggliness and fun!

Also, I bought a new computer today, with Bryan's help. I am not compltely clueless about hardware, but he knows a lot more than me. I'll need to stop by the store tomorrow morning and pick it up--it's on our way down to gaming. $550 buys a heck of a lot of computer, these days, oh yes.

I should probably, oh, go shower and things, so i smell nice for tonight.

[Laura last night at the grocery store: "Let's get one thick and one hot. That way, we can have both!"

What sort of stuff did you pick up?

I'm so ignorant about hardware, and I'm trying to learn a bit more about it so that when I pick up a new one myself I don't make a mistake!

Hm. I think the processor is an Athlon 2300(?), I got a combo DVD-R/CD-RW drive, 120 gig hard drive (to go with the 80 gig data drive that I already have on my other machine that i'll be transferring over), 512 megs of RAM, a decent video card, new speakers...

I started with a "barebones" computer and bought things to put into it. The place i bought it from is nice and does all that for you, if you ask.
