1. My scarf matches my tights. No, I did not plan this.

2. Corduroy skirt + tights = need for slip. Guess what I didn't put on this morning? I'm not good at this girl stuff yet.

3. New computer. time from hitting reboot button to login screen is 20 seconds. *Most* pleased. I'm all patched and I installed Office this morning, so most of what remains is data transfer and popping in my data hard drive from my old machine.

4. Storm = still evil. In a helpful way, though, actually. Mmmm, crunchy new plot threads.

5. Something's affecting my watch. This is the second morning in a row that it's been accurate until I take it off in the evening, and in the morning it's been wildly inaccurate, though still evidently functioning. It said, at 8 am this morning, that it was 3:25.

I think I may need to switch to wearing a pocket watch. heh. When my watch starts malfunctioning, usually other electricity-powered things follow. We'll see. The watch could just be broken...

6. There is a roll of butter rum lifesavers on my desk, taunting me. I need to get rid of them.

Replace the battery. What's happening is that your body heat is powering the watch by increasing the temperature of the battery, giving it a boost. When you take it off, the battery cools down and loses power.

If you find that your skirt is sticking to your tights, you might also try the Magic Static Cling Eraser: take a dryer sheet and wipe it across the inside of your skirt. Magic. Skirt no longer sticks to tights.

I used to just keep a box of dryer sheets in my desk at work.

It's an unlined corduroy skirt. The problem here is not static, it's friction. Heh.

I'm just grinning and bearing it, for the moment. And remembering to put on a slip next time.

ooh, good tips! (I actually have a slip that works with this skirt--it's black. I just forgot to put it on today, for I am a dork.)

In this case, it's funny to watch me walk, because the skirt wraps itself around my legs. Heh.

Heh. I need to find a slip soon for my costume. It's just not easy finding something that fits my frame.

4. Similar to my Storm(y). Evil, but in a helpful way.

5. Your watch just likes you, and misses you when you take it off.

6. If it was me, I'd eat them, so they'd be gone, so I wouldn't be tempted to eat them any more.
