It just sort of slipped out.

No, I have no idea who Catsumirande is, either. I do know that the name is pronounced, "cat-SU-mir-and".

catsumirande

is decadent
toes in the water and hands
up in the sky
in morning
red sky is mourning
the sailors take warning

is dancing
somewhere on the line between here
and forever
between the white spring
and the black mountains
glistening with embers

is drumming
feet on the skin of the world
vaulting, up, up, till she
shines in the firmament

catsumirande
is not afraid
to want

though she is afraid of getting what she wants
she fears it is bad for the complexion

and she does not wish to be spoilt

though the world lavishes blessings on her
she stubbornly continues to count them
afraid of losing track

catsumirande
is thinking
about the substance that separates
water
from air

about the way air wraps fire
the way wood contains sap
the unseen forces
that hold her, press her,
keep her together
the surface tension between her body

and the world

catsumirande
is dreaming
of home.

I like!

(and the lines "though she is afraid of getting what she wants
she fears it is bad for the complexion" amuse me greatly.)
