I love the holidays...

...in large part because everyone goes away and 1. makes my commute easier and 2. makes work quieter.

Brain is not here, though. Brain is in Europe. I really do know better than to get on a roll on Sunday night, no matter how little I've been able to write that weekend. (I finished a Secret Special Solstice Surprise for you all this weekend, though. My present to all of you. You'll get to unwrap it tomorrow.)

I finished wrapping presents yesterday when duckdaring was off making a major purchase, so that bit is done. I listened to Compline last night while I was writing a tricky scene, and the end result is a piece that feels a little bit strange. We'll see how well I like it in edit.

My hair is Very Fluffy today, and tonight there will be sushi, so, you know, life is good.
